Nestled in the Black River Valley, amidst hundred year-old pine trees and glorious sugar maples, you'll find peace and comfort, along with a luscious breakfast, at the Whetstone Brook Bed & Breakfast.  A New England Cape built in 1826, it has been home to six generations of the Wilson family.  Currently a nonworking farm, it sits on rolling pastures, bordered by thick green forests and of course, the pristine Whetstone Brook.

We are in Vermont's fabled Northeast Kingdom and minutes from the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Sterling College, the Windridge Tennis Camp and the headquarters of Circus Smirkus. Hiking, boating on nearby Caspian Lake, biking, fishing, and swimming areas are abundant. Equidistant are the Stowe, Jay, Smugglers' Notch and Burke ski areas.
